Bien que familier avec Poe et ses histoires, je dois avouer ne pas avoir lu ses \u0153uvres.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9pondant \u00e0 des appels signalant des cris effroyables, la police arrive au domicile d'un homme \u00e2g\u00e9 mais est accueillie par un jeune homme (le Narrateur) qui se pr\u00e9sente comme son aide \u00e0 domicile.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.madabouthorror.co.uk\/media\/blog\/_Where_better_than_the_Master_s_bedroom_.jpg\" alt=\"Le C\u0153ur r\u00e9v\u00e9lateur - Mikah Olsen, Sonny Grimsley, Teren Turner\" width=\"650\" height=\"273\"><\/p>\n<p>Alors que les policiers interrogent le jeune homme, nous commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 douter de sa sant\u00e9 mentale. Ce qui se d\u00e9roule est un macabre r\u00e9cit de meurtre et de culpabilit\u00e9 d\u00e9rang\u00e9e.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le cadre temporel du film est ambigu, ce qui contribue \u00e0 un sentiment de folie. Nous ne parvenons jamais \u00e0 appr\u00e9hender pleinement la situation qui nous est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>L'utilisation astucieuse de la cin\u00e9matographie et de l'\u00e9clairage ajoute une sensation hallucinatoire inqui\u00e9tante qui donne une nouvelle dimension au r\u00e9cit. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>De plus, la tension monte avec le battement de c\u0153ur quasi constant dans la partition, nous rappelant constamment le \u00ab\u00a0c\u0153ur\u00a0\u00bb de l'histoire.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.madabouthorror.co.uk\/media\/blog\/James_C_Morris_as_The_Old_Man.jpg\" alt=\"Le C\u0153ur R\u00e9v\u00e9lateur - James G. Morris\" width=\"650\" height=\"273\"><\/p>\n<p>La confession sanglante ne recule devant rien dans toute sa gloire macabre. Encore une excellente utilisation de la cam\u00e9ra, qui nous permet de voir le gore sans tout nous montrer.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Alors que la tension et l'horreur s'intensifient, le narrateur continue de perdre son emprise sur la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 et nous sommes laiss\u00e9s \u00e0 nous demander ce qui est r\u00e9el et ce qui est fantasm\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Un petit casting men\u00e9 par Sonny Grimsley est utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 merveille et accentue un sentiment de claustrophobie. Le r\u00e9alisateur McClain Lindquist offre 22 minutes intenses d'une narration insens\u00e9e.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Actuellement en s\u00e9lection pour plusieurs festivals de cin\u00e9ma, le film n'a pas encore de date de sortie.
