How to Put On an Immortal Masks Silicone Mask

Silicone masks are some of the most realistic and lifelike horror masks available, but if you’ve never worn one before, getting an Immortal Mask on correctly can take a little practice.

Unlike traditional latex masks, silicone masks are designed to move with your face and respond to your expressions. That means the way you put the mask on matters. Pulling it into place incorrectly or using powders and other products can affect how the silicone sits against your skin and moves with your face.

If you’ve just invested in an Immortal Masks silicone mask, here’s the correct way to put it on.

Don’t Use Powder or Other Products

One of the most important things to remember when putting on an Immortal Mask is that you don’t need to use anything to help get the mask on.

Powder and similar products won’t make the process easier. In fact, they can create a barrier between your skin and the silicone. This can stop the mask from sitting and moving naturally with your facial expressions.

For the best fit and movement, put the mask directly onto clean skin without applying anything to your face or the inside of the mask.

How to Put On an Immortal Masks Silicone Mask

Start by placing both hands deep inside the mask, with your knuckles positioned against the cheeks and your palms facing each other.

Lift the mask towards your head while tilting your head slightly downwards to meet the mask. This helps you bring your head into the mask rather than trying to force the silicone over your face.

Before putting the mask fully into position, make sure the bib is flipped over. You can then catch the back of your head against the back of the mask, with the bib still flipped down.

Once the mask catches the back of your head, keep your hands deep inside the cheeks of the mask. Use them to gently stretch the silicone away from your face and downwards.

Your hands should remain inside the mask as you guide it down over your face.

Don’t pull your hands out yet.

Continue guiding the mask down until the chin of the mask meets your own chin. This allows the silicone to settle into position rather than being dragged into place from the outside.

Never Pull the Mask Down By the Bib

It’s important not to use the bib to pull the mask down.

The bib isn’t there to act as a handle, and yanking on it can put unnecessary stress on the silicone. You should also avoid pulling down hard on the chin or mouth area.

Instead, keep your hands inside the mask and use the cheeks to stretch and guide the silicone into place.

Taking a little extra time during this part will help the mask settle naturally over your face.

Adjusting Your Immortal Mask

Once the mask is on your head, you can make small adjustments to get the best possible fit.

If the mask needs moving forwards or backwards, gently massage the top of the head section with your hands. This allows you to adjust where the mask sits without pulling aggressively on the face, mouth or bib.

Take your time and let the silicone settle into position.

The aim is for the mask to sit naturally on your head while allowing the silicone to move with your facial expressions.
