For some reason I was more excited for Scream 6 than Scream 5, I’m not sure why? I think it was because I had high expectations for the sequel. I was a fan of the original Scream movies, and was hoping that Scream 6 would bring back some of the same thrills and excitement that the original trilogy had. Plus, I was curious to see how the new cast and storyline would play out. Even though Scream 5 wasn’t as good as I had hoped, I still had high hopes for Scream 6.
I LOVE that it was based around halloween – from the opening scen’s to the end non stop action and kills, talking of kills they were way more gruesome in this one and Ghostface totally means business – no joking around here! The movie definitely kept me on the edge of my seat, and I loved the suspense of never knowing who was going to be Ghostface’s next victim. The soundtrack was also really great and heightened the tension at all the right moments. All in all, it was a great movie and a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween.
I think my favourite scene was on the subway and all the fantastic nods to other horror films – Oh and let’s not forget the incredible scene between Ghostface and Gail – no spoilers here tho!
